Framed By Dew

When Joe and I replaced the windows in our house we chose a crank out window for the kitchen so we would have nothing interfering with the view.

Sunday morning I walked into the kitchen to fix breakfast for Rommie and I and was awestruck by the framing job nature did on the window – a perfect oval of dew framing the woods behind my house.

Here is one of the pictures, the other one is over at OgleOhio.com, my photography blog.

Wishing you a joyous Tuesday.

Weekend Wisdom: Winter Trees – William Carlos Williams

Since more snow is falling this Saturday morning.  I decided to do a poem and pictures for Weekend Wisdom.  Enjoy!

Winter Trees

BY WILLIAM CARLOS WILLIAMS

All the complicated details

of the attiring and

the disattiring are completed!

A liquid moon

moves gently among

the long branches.

Thus having prepared their buds

against a sure winter

the wise trees

stand sleeping in the cold.
