God shook a box of instant potato flakes on Thursday. My relatives living east of Cleveland got most of the box dumped on them. Rommie and I only got the flakes at the bottom of the box.
Rommie decided to celebrate. Every day she lives out Psalm 118:24:
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
How does Rommie celebrate snow time?
Step 1 – Get Ready
Step 2 – Get Set
Step 3 – “Roll With It Baby!”
“Roll With It Baby”
To Rommie, snow season means the end of thunderstorms and that is a good reason to rejoice.
Snow provokes responses that reach right back to childhood.
Here is a quick little excerpt from Song of Solomon 2:11-12 to celebrate the first full weekend of Spring.
…for behold, the winter is past…
The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come.
1 – 3 inches.
That is what the weatherman called for Saturday overnight to Sunday suppertime.
I awoke Sunday morning to 3 inches on the ground and it was still coming down like a steady rain.
The snow plow had not even been down the street yet.
Yep, not right again weatherman.
So what is God doing?
Making our sins as white as snow.
Apparently our sin activity is off the charts because He sees the need to keep bombarding us with snow.
May the fact God is making your sins as white as snow bring you everlasting joy.
