The first thing I did yesterday morning was check the headlines on Fox News. This is something I rarely do as checking the news is never a good way to start the day.
Panic did not set in upon reading that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were diagnosed with Covid-19. Don’t misunderstand, I am not happy and pray for a full and speedy recovery for both of them.
I am thankful he did not get it earlier this year when we did not know as much about the virus.
I understand the importance of the situation after all he is not only the President of the United States, he is the leader of the free world. Seeing the president walking to Marine One was wonderful. Can you imagine the panic if he was taken out in a wheelchair or on a stretcher?
The bottom line is God is still on His throne and has complete control of the situation.
My Prayer For The President
Dear Holy, Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father, Thank you for being holy, gracious and loving. Thank you for your mercies being as new today as they were yesterday and will be tomorrow morning.
Please heal President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump as well as their staff, senators and anyone else who caught the Chinese virus, so they can live a long and fruitful life here on earth testifying about your glory and goodness.
Give the doctors wisdom as they make decisions about treatment for the President and First Lady. Let there be no side effects from treatment and no permanent side effects from Covid. Return them and everyone else to the health they were in before the infection.
Comfort the President, First Lady and all who are ill so they may one day comfort others as you have comforted them. Give them a peace that surpasses all understanding. Please also pass that peace on to the media here in America and around the world.
Use this time to unite We The People. May we come together in prayer for our president, his family and all who are sick.
In Jesus’s name I pray,
Amen!
