Weekly Photo Challenge:Comfort

(Author’s Note: Time to participate in another WordPress Photo Challenge.  For any one new to the blog WordPress issues a weekly photo challenge that consists of one word.  Then it is up to bloggers to post a picture interpretation.  The challenge is open to all bloggers and not just photo-bloggers.   Enjoy and have a blessed week.)

Here is how Rommie defines Comfort:

Rommie In Her Tent

Every night when we go to bed, she makes a “curtain tent.”  Sometime during the night she will leave her tent and sleep on her bed or jump in bed with me.

I find her “tent” cute but at the same time annoying because when she makes it, she opens the curtains.  Guess she is trying to get me a boyfriend by giving the world a peek inside my bedroom.   😉

What I find comforting:

Bamboo Song

I have been in love with this bamboo wind chime since buying it about four years ago.  The sound is calming, comforting and soothing.  While metal wind chimes are nice, bamboo ones are my favorite.   As you can tell, this stays out year round.  There is nothing like sitting and focusing solely on the sound before bedtime.

“Weekly Photo Challenge:Flowers”

Author’s note:  I am in a mood, which is quite different from being “in the mood”, so I decided it was best to keep my words to a bare minimum and take a different direction with today’s post.   You will find these photo posts on the blog from time to time.

My Passion – Photography

Every week I receive an email from Daily Post at WordPress.com regarding a photo challenge.  The challenge is open to every blogger even if their blog is not about photography.  The emails are sent on Friday and run through Thursday of the following week.

The challenge issued last Friday, August 19th, was flowers.  Each challenge is open to interpretation.

"Stargazer For Dad"

Dad first saw Stargazer Lilies in an arrangement at my Step-Mom’s Celebration of Life service.  So when Mom asked me what kind of flowers she should get Dad, I told her Stargazer’s.
