(Author’s note: I am taking part in WordPress’s The Daily Post Weekly Photography Challenge today and posting a couple pictures pertaining to the theme “Nighttime.” Photography has long been one of my joys in life.)
The Vampire In Me
For years I thought of myself as a vampire because I prefer the night, not because I want to drink blood (although an occasional glass of red wine is nice).
However as these pictures suggest, I am a werewolf because of my fascination with shooting pictures of full moons. My computer contains plenty of moon pictures from numerous angles and at different times of day.
These are my 2 favorites.
“In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning”
This picture was taken in the wee, wee hours of an April morning. I got up to get something to drink and look out the kitchen window to see this view. It is my second favorite full moon picture.
Quentin’s Moon
This is my favorite full moon picture. It is of a supermoon from 2012 and reminds me of something you would see in the original Dark Shadows tv show.
