52 Bible Verses for a Joy Filled Year – Week 47

How to keep your mind stayed on God? Most people think that praying or reciting Bible verses and Bible Journaling is the way of keeping your mind on God. While they are good ways to keep your mind on God, if you open your eyes and drink in the beautiful scenery around you – that will also help you keep your mind on God.

We often go through our day with eyes closed to His beauty and therefore miss His presence and His peace.

So during this week keep your eyes open for God’s beauty all around you and experience His perfect peace and then remember to give thanks for His perfect peace.

Mind Renewal

“Renewing the mind is a little like refinishing furniture. It is a two-stage process. It involves taking off the old and replacing it with the new.

The old is the lies you have learned to tell or were taught by those around you; it is the attitudes and ideas that have become a part of your thinking but do not reflect reality.

The new is the truth. To renew your mind is to involve yourself in the process of allowing God to bring to the surface the lies you have mistakenly accepted and replace them with truth.

To the degree that you do this, your behavior will be transformed.”
