2021 – Reflections On A Crazy Year

Good day!

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Well, 2021 lived up to my word of the year – CRAZY!

When selecting crazy as my word, I had envisioned having a crazy faith like the widow in Luke 18.

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. 2 “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. 3 A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ 4 The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, 5 but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”

Crazy faith was needed:

  • for an event in April. Maybe one day I can explain what happened
  • for knowing my car would get me back and forth during trips throughout Ohio
  • for believing I could learn a new position at work
  • for believing I would eventually adjust to my new work schedule
  • for writing the 31 Day of Spiritual Prepping series

Finally, crazy faith was needed for just believing that if I kept running around like a chicken with my head cut off, that I would reap a harvest if I did not give up. I did not give up and a plentiful harvest was reaped.

Thank you God for being gracious and loving towards me as you got me through this crazy year.

My hope is in you for getting this country and the world through 2022.
