Weekend Wisdom: Prepare

Here’s a good quote in honor of the big game tomorrow.

“First, I prepare. Then I have faith.”

Joe Namath – former NY Jets Quarterback (won Super Bowl III – January 12, 1963; inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985)

I do not care who wins as I lost interest in football (and other sports) years ago. As long as no one gets hurt playing the game, that’s all that matters.

Weekend Wisdom: Pro Football Hall of Fame Kick-Off

Since I was born and mostly raised in Canton, OH, (we moved when I was 12) it seemed appropriate that “Weekend Wisdom” should be about football.  The 50th Football Hall of Fame activities  officially kick off today, so I decided to kick off “Weekend Wisdom” early.

I found this quote from Phyllis Diller  that explains why football is not played by women.

The reason women don’t play football is because 11 of them would never wear the same outfit in public.

Come on ladies….you know it’s true!         😉
