Weekend Wisdom

Weekend Wisdom:

“Funny” is the theme for the remainder of this month’s Weekend Wisdom. I know we can all use some laughter in our lives. As long as I find funny quotes on BrainyQuote.com, I will keep posting them this month.

How I View Father’s Day

(Author’s Note: No post on Sunday as I am leaving this one up through out the weekend.  Happy Father’s Day to all you father’s out there.)

Fatherless?

Dad #1 and Dad #2 have passed away.

Most of you will think – “Awww, she’s fatherless on Father’s Day.”

But I do not see it that way.

I still have 2 earthly father’s, however heaven is there home now.  Someday I will see them again along with Mom #2, Joe and a lot of other relatives who moved to heaven.

They may not be physically here, but they live in my heart so they are here – and always will be.

“Celebrate Good Times, C’mon!”

I will be celebrating the lives of both my fathers and Joe, for he was a wonderful father to Rommie (our golden retriever child).

But mostly I will be celebrating  God, for I am a child of God and that makes him my Dad.

So

HAPPY FATHERS DAY GOD!

Thank you for blessing me with an awesome family, that includes the biological relatives and those related through marriage.  There is not another family I would want to be born into or have married into.

Love,

Your Daughter Michele

P.S.  Tell Joe and my earthly father’s, grandfather’s, and great-grandfather’s  Happy Father’s Day.  I look forward to seeing them again – just not anytime soon.                 😉
