Good Friday Wisdom: Crucified

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galations 2:20 (English Standard Version)

Through out this month you will find quotes pertaining to Easter.  I pray they will give you hope, lift your spirit, and renew your heart.

“The good intent of God become the Christ

And lived on earth-the living love of God-

That men might draw to closer touch with heaven,

Since Christ in all the way of man hath trod.

Happy Easter-He Is Risen

He is risen indeed!

Here is a video of the hymn we sing at church every Easter.  Mom and I went to Easter service in 2010, it was the first Easter after my step-father’s passing and it was a couple days before  their anniversary.  I thought it might be hard on her, well no it was not – she took it in stride.

I was the one in tears.  My tears started when we sang this song.  It just touched my heart to know because of Jesus Christ being risen that Joe was also risen.

So enjoy the video of King’s College Choir Cambridge 2011

May you have a blessed Easter filled with lots of sunshine.

“For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”
