Weekend Wisdom: Honor One Another

Happy Sunday everyone!

The Bible verse for today is Romans 12:10

Honor one another

Honor means respect.

Quotes About Honor & Respect

Show proper respect to everyone.

1 Peter 2:17

You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.

Aristotle

It is in the character of very few men to honor without envy a friend who has prospered.

Aeschylus

Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized.

Albert Einstein

When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.

Lao Tzu

Honor one another above yourselves

Romans 12:10

Weekend Wisdom: Dreams & Daydreaming

My friend Jennifer Chernisky sent me a wonderful quote I will be using for a special series his December.  The quote pertains to dreams, so I decided today’s “Weekend Wisdom” would be about dreams and daydreaming.

Thank you for the quote Jennifer.

The rest of you will have to check back in December to see the quote that speaks to Jennifer.

Now for today’s wisdom:

I live my daydreams in music.

~Albert Einstein

Dreaming is an act of pure imagination, attesting in all men a creative power, which if it were available in waking, would make every man a Dante or Shakespeare.

~H.F. Hedge

Dreams are illustrations… from the book your soul is writing about you.

~Marsha Norman

Pay attention to your dreams – God’s angels often speak directly to our hearts when we are asleep.

~Quoted in The Angels’ Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman, 1994

My Apology

I apologize for not publishing posts last Tuesday through Friday.

There has been a change in my life (no, I am not dating) and it caused some chaos, confusion and upheaval in my schedule.  I will fill you in on the change (no not menopause either) sometime in April.

Because of all the chaos and confusion, I looked at my calendar and figured out how to redo my schedule so there is time for writing. Hopefully last week will not happen again.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.  Thanks to those who read some of my other posts.

Have a joy filled week.

“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.”

Albert Einstein
