This picture was taken this week as the sun rose up over the house. Once I saw this week’s verse I knew I had to use this picture.
The Lord IS light, strength, and salvation. May you and I remember this as we go through this week and may we see an example of all three in our lives.

This week is the half way mark for the series. How is your year so far? Are you noticing any difference since you started incorporating these verses into your life? How is God working in your day?
Today’s verse is appropriate for the halfway mark.
“…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Wherever you go for the next 26 weeks, God will be there.
Welcome to week 2 of 52 Bible Verses for a Joy Filled Year.
Peace is the subject of this weeks verse. We desperately need more peace in our lives and in our country.
Jesus did not promise an easy life, only that He would be with us and for us to rest assured that He has overcome the world.
Let these words echo in your heart this week.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
