I’m retired and live in an area mostly occupied by seniors. Many of my friends have lost their spouses. My ex died five years ago 7 weeks following his diagnosis. It hit me hard for lots of reasons. I’ve witnessed second hand what widows suffer. Every day I’m thankful to still have my husband. But I know it most likely will happen some day (if statistics hold true) and I will need someone like you to help me through it. Thank you for being available to grieving widows/(ers) mothers, fathers, children, grandparents and every other possible relationship thereof. You’re a life saver for the survivors.

I’m a SITS sister dropping by to say Hello!. I got interested in your blog as I am raised by a widow. Yes , my father died when I was barely 2 years old and my mother was seven months on the way with my sister. I actually cant connect with the grief but I surely witness the journey we went through with my Mom. I am proud to be where I am today and I am proud more for my Mom to be able to survive and give us what my sister and I have today! I will be following you from now on. i admire women like you! 🙂
