Why do I write? Besides writing to encourage forward motion instead of staying stuck in grief, my brain needs to switch gears after a long, intense day in customer service. Writing and photography are how I escape from The Matrix.
Writing helps me focus my brain on a topic as I work out my feelings and/or what to to publish.
It’s not just blog posts but writing Bible verses over and over in a notebook also helps me to focus. Psalm 27:3 (ESV) is the one I’ve written daily since November 12, 2022.
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident.

Photography allows me to see God’s creation from a different angles, deepening my appreciation for all He upon creating world.

We all need a way to reboot our brain after a long work day.
I’ve found my escape, hopefully you have too.
