It’s week 4 of Advent and as I light my advent candelabra my pastor is doing his imitation of Elvis’ Blue Christmas and I’ll Be Home For Christmas. It’s a workday so I am watching on YouTube.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 (ESV)

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 (ESV)
Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.” Mark 9:50
