Here is some hope and joy to cling to if you are in a season of waiting. Whether it is waiting for a new job, waiting to get through the first year of grief, or waiting for the end of endless political robo-calls, I hope you find these words from Lamentations encouraging.
Remember, everything in this life comes to an end as only God’s word abides for ever.
22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him,Lamentations 3:22-26; English Standard Version (ESV)
to the soul who seeks him.
26 It is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
