Our country has a heart problem. We The People have turned from God. Our hearts are polluted by worldly things and spiritual warfare. We need to turn back to God, repent of our sins, and ask for forgiveness so God scrubs our hearts clean.
The laws and government control will never clean polluted hearts – only God can do that. We need to Ask, Seek, and Knock (Matthew 7:7-8).
It really is that simple.
I pray these verses over all my beloved fellow citizens.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10
