While working on yesterday’s post, I read chapter 4 which deals with a threat from “Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and the Ammonites and the Ashdodites” (verse 7).
The last verse that deals with the opposition stood out as important for the chaotic time we are living through.
14 And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people,
“Do not be afraid of them.
Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome,
and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”
Nehemiah 4:14
May we remember the Lord is always great and awesome.
May we always fight for our family, home, and country.
After all, our great and awesome God has placed us here for such a time as this.
