Joyful Life

My Yellow Shed

My shed is yellow by design. Dreary winter days are brighter because the shed serves as a beacon of light and hope. It stands in stark contrast to the rest of the yard.

One can’t help but smile and think of the warmer days ahead.

In these dark and chaotic times, are you living a life that is in stark contrast to the rest of the world?

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect

Romans 12:2

Do people smile when they think of you because your life radiates hope for better days ahead?

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Jesus – Matthew 5:14-15 (ESV)

Your landscape project for this year is to add a little yellow to your yard so it looks cheery. Then make sure you infuse some yellow into the way you live your life so it brings light and hope during the bleak winters of life.

Now I’m off to add yellow to breakfast as I top my oatmeal with pineapple.

God bless you and stay safe and warm.
