Hello and welcome to a week of Thanksgiving Wisdom. Any and all photos are mine and were taken at various times through the fall season a few years ago. May you be inspired to look these verses up in your Bible and read them in the context in which they were written.
Jeremiah 30
I knew today’s verse came from words given to the Israelites about the restoration of Israel and Judah. Upon reading verses 1-3, I realized how timely the message is for us.
The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
“Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you.
For behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it.”
Jeremiah 30:1-3
God restored Israel and Judah according to His timeline. Therefore He can restore unity to our country when the time is right. That is if our restoration is His will.
May our songs of thanksgiving overflow with praise this and all the weeks of our lives.
