I’m still standing and my house is still standing.
The sun is slowly setting in the southwest, the sky directly west is blue with white fluffy clouds, all threat of a tornado has passed at 5:50 PM Eastern on 10/21/2021. However, NOW it gets windy. Ummm….Ok God, whatever. You are in charge of the weather not me.
I was editing this photo when the Amber Alert appeared on my phone with the first of 2 tornado warnings for my area (a total of 11 tornado warnings were issued in the Northeast Ohio area yesterday).
In our wild and crazy world, it is sometimes very difficult to hold fast to God’s word. The road through life is not always free of debris like the path in this picture.

It is very easy to stumble and fall over life’s down tree limbs. But holding on to God and His word will help you get up on your feet. He will always lend a helping hand when His prodigal children return home.
As long as you are holding on to God’s word, your laboring and running will not be in vain.
After all, God’s word gives life here and in heaven.
May you always hold fast to God’s life giving word no matter how crazy the world gets.
