Spiritual Prepping

{Day 20} Spiritual Prepping: Result

Getting extremely serious here today.

I’m sure I’ve read this verse before but it never spoke to me until a couple weeks ago when doing blog research.

Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!

Romans 3:8 (NIV)
Silver Linings

When evil things happen God walks through them with us and eventually we will see the silver lining. It may take days, weeks, months or even years because God operates on His own timeline and it is totally different than ours.

I believe Satan unleashes evil on this world daily. God sees what Satan does and says something like:

“Well Satan, I will just weaken the evil you did so it impacts has less impact on my beloved children. I will also use this opportunity to show you how your evil strengthens their faith because my children know I AM upholding them with my righteous right hand.

More Silver Linings

While God does bring about good from evil, purposely doing evil so God can turn evil into good is wrong.

Always has been and always will be.

P.S. I have more thoughts on this verse but they are not for publication at this time.
