{Day 7} Spiritual Prepping: Encourage

Hello! This is your friendly warning that today’s post will prove that I do not think like you normal people.

Today’s verse is inspired by the word prompt encourage from the 31 Days of Five Minute Free Writes Writing Challenge. This verse was already on my list of verses for my spiritual prepping series.

It was tough figuring out what to say about this verse. I could lament about this country being divided in part because not enough people are living out this verse. But decided that it is obvious there is a lack of living out any verse from the Bible.

Then the book I ordered arrived – Carrots Love Tomatoes; Secrets Of Companion Planting for Successful Gardening by Louise Riotte. That is what we need to be companions to one another in this journey through life.

Plants that assist each other to grow well, plants that repel insects, even plants that repel other plants -all are of great practical use.

By encouraging one another we assist them in moving forward, in dreaming big, in not giving up. We help them and they in turn help us.

Vegetable growers find that companion planting provides many benefits, one of which is protection from pests.

We strengthen one another so both of us can repel the pests of our lives.

So are you a great practical use to another person? Are you helping them repel the pests of their lives?

I am excited to delve even deeper into this book as I am sure there is more to be learned from carrots, tomatoes and other vegetables.
