God make the world so beautiful;
He made the sunset too,
And to make it look more youthful
He made the rain and dew.
And then He made the lovely trees,
To shade us from the sun,
He made the flowers, birds and bees,
But life had just begun.
The lovely world looked lonely
In spite of all it’s charms
So He made a little mother
With a baby in her arms.
He gave her strength to shield it,
He gave her mother-love,
A mother is God’s greatest gift
To earth from up above.

Unfortunately not all mother’s have having a day filled with sunshine, roses and lollipops. Some are in mental pain from not being able to be with their children due to the virus, long distance or other issues. Some mother’s are in physical pain due to recovering from broken bones, surgery, or chronic illnesses. And finally, some mothers are in pain due to the grief of their spouse no longer being here to help raise the children.
So to all the mother’s who are in pain for whatever reason, I will pray these verses over you today.
Lord, my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.
Psalm 30:2

So do not fear, for
I am
with you,
do not be dismayed, for
I am
your God.
I will
strengthen you
and
help you.
I will
uphold you,
with my
righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
