After reading this, I picture Jesus walking towards the cross all cut up and exposed from His flogging.
Jesus exposed His heart filled with love, compassion, humility and obedience to His Father to save our hearts exposed by our sin. He did this so all those who believe in Him will have eternal life with Him.
