Joyful Life

New shelf in the Bookcase – Prepping Shelf

My vision has always been to provide you with inspiration and encouragement to move forward with your life; whether it comes from an adventure I’ve had, sharing a book I read or just my opinion.

Well the newest topic I’ve been learning about during the last 5 month’s is prepping. It is extremely fascinating learning about off-grid living (wells, solar panels), what foods to stockpile, and skills like learning how to tie knots. Remember, we all live in an area that is affected by some type of natural disaster so you need to be prepared for them. Then there is man-made SHTF like job loss.

The best way to share this information is by adding a new page titled Prepping Shelf. It contains books and YouTube channels if you are into or are interested in learning more about being prepared for any SHTF scenario – snow, hurricane, wildfire, blackout etc.. These books and channels are designed to educate you and not to scare you into thinking the world is ending. Although, I do believe there are some interesting times we will be living through in the next 4 years. What they are, I have no idea but this I do know – God will be with us.

Prepping shelf will eventually be relocated to the Bookshelves tab which is under the Resources tab. But for now you will find it visible on the menu.

Speaking of being prepared – time change is 1 1/2 weeks away so stock up on all the sleep and caffeine you can get as we will be springing forward – UGH! Love the extra hour of daylight but losing an hour’s sleep is a nightmare. I’m not a morning person, never have been and never will be.

Enjoy the Prepping Shelf page and get ready to spring into a new season season of joy.

God bless you.
