Introvert Weekend Wisdom: A Picture of My Mind
Welcome to Introvert Weekend Wisdom featuring quotes from The Powerful Purpose of Introverts, Why The World Needs You To Be You by Holley Gerth.
In her latest book, Holley has researched the biology of being an introvert and gives practical information thriving as an introvert.
Today’s quote comes from the Sharp Thinking chapter.
Introverts are quite, but our minds are loud.Holley Gerth, The Powerful Purpose of Introverts, Why The World Needs You To Be You (Sharp Thinking chapter) (Kindle location 1922)
The picture below represents my brain.
A brain where words, thoughts, and ideas are constantly shooting off in different directions faster than warp speed.
Every ray of light, every dot, and every squiggly blob represents a word, thought, or idea constantly moving and evolving in my brain. The colors represent the loudness of my thoughts.
For example, last night I was cooking burgers and had classical music playing on my Kindle when all of a sudden and new idea for a blog series burst through my other speeding thoughts. As for how loudly it shouted, well that would be represented by the pink and orange color combination in the lower left corner of the picture.
Now if only my body moved as fast as my thoughts. 😀
