While Milton Friedman is not a founding father, he does know a thing or two about economics.
Free Enterprise – businesses free from government control, which means the market sets the prices. It is the how we operate here in America. The government does not tell people how to run their business on a day to day basis. Keeping them out of the daily workings of us ordinary people is what the founding fathers intended. It is what makes our country unique. It is how American exceptionalism is unleashed upon the world.
So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear. That there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by a free enterprise system.
