Weekend Wisdom

Historical Weekend Wisdom

This month Weekend Wisdom will be devoted to historical quotes, poems, scripture and any other tidbits of information I find worth sharing. History was the subject I enjoyed the most in school. It still fascinates me.

I am currently reading The 5000 Year Leap, A Miracle That Changed the World; Principles of Freedom 101 by W. Cleon Skousen. Oh my! I am 13 pages into this and my mind is blown. It explores 28 Principles of Liberty that formed the basis for The Constitution and The Declaration of Independence. Some of these principles will be mentioned in this month’s Historical Weekend Wisdom.

I read the list of principles and I was rolling on the floor at Principles number two and three. Boy how We The People have failed these 2 principles.

But more on that next week.

In the meantime, enjoy celebrating our independence this weekend. Remember, we are blessed by God’s grace to live in a unique and exceptional country.

God Bless You and God Bless The USA!
