Weekend Wisdom

Weekend Wisdom: Clouds

Nahum is one of the Bible’s minor prophets. The book of Nahum tells the story of the Lord’s anger at and the eventual destruction of Nineveh. The city was wicked and filled with oppression, cruelty and idolatry.

In this book are words that change how I look at clouds.

Whether on a bright sunny day…

Or on a dark stormy night,

I will never look at clouds the same again.

Thank you Nahum.

The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;

    the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.

His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,

and clouds are the dust of his feet.

Nahum 1:3
New International Version
(NIV)

That is how you know God is moving.

You see the clouds, the dust of his feet.
