This verse was in my Instagram. It showed up at the end of a rough week. I was dependent upon people due to the car having a radiator leak. It’s rough being dependent upon other people helping you out. Where I live life is all about self-sufficiency. How dare you be dependent upon other people – but that is a subject for another post.
It’s ironic how verses show up when you need them. A reminder to put the burden of my car issue on Jesus’s strong capable shoulders so I can rest and breathe easy because this humble and gentle man shares in my burdens.
I pray this verse speaks to you.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
