(Author’s Note: Yes, I know I am suppose to be on vacation but I had to share this resource with you.)

I sometimes spend Sunday evening listening to sermons from Pastor Adam Hamilton at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. (Our Bible Study group recently did 2 of his Bible Study’s. )

On July 9th he did a sermon about suicide and hope. It is a beautiful sermon and will give hope  and ease guilt someone might be feeling after a loved one died from suicide.

Below is the phone number to the National Suicide Hotline, the link to their website, a link to a book Pastor Hamilton mentions and his sermon.

Please watch and pass on to someone who is walking through dark times and needs hope.

Like a Broken Vessel: The Gospel and Suicide – Pastor Adam Hamilton

Psalm 31

14 But I trust in you, O Lord;

    I say, “You are my God.”

15 My times are in your hand;
    rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!

16 Make your face shine on your servant;
    save me in your steadfast love!
