Weekend Wisdom is back.
This is a series I started shortly after launching this blog. I was trying to publish a post 7 days a week and decided that finding uplifting poems, quotes and scripture would be an easy way to come up with posts two days every week.
Today’s quote comes from The Undistracted Widow by Carol W. Cornish. In the book she quotes A. W. Pink
There are seasons in the lives of all when it is not easy, not even for Christians, to believe that God is faithful. Our faith is sorely tried, our eyes dimmed with tears, and we can no longer trace the out working of His love.
Though you cannot now harmonize God’s mysterious dealings with the avowals of His love, wait on Him for more light. In His own good time He will make it plain to you.

The Nature of God
We are human, so we are not perfect. Therefore we will have a hard time believing God is faithful. While my grief over Joe’s passing is mostly gone, my frustration with rebuilding my career is in high gear. But it too will be resolved in God’s time not mine.
Though your eyes be like mine – tired and filled to the brim with tears,
remember
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:32
