31 DJFJS Day 9 – Bible Verses

joy-filled

The best inspirational book is the Bible. It is filled with wonderful material to lift your spirits. Just do not read the last few chapters of the book of Judges before going to bed. Those chapters probably inspired Stephen King to write horror novels.

Here are the verses I’ve picked out that are encouragement for job seekers.

Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Even when you go into the lions den – a.k.a. job interview)

Psalm 119:114
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 31:9
Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.

Psalm 20:4
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
