Cleveland’s Light

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. …

Matthew 5:13-16

Cleveland and all of Northeast Ohio, you lived out this verse during the convention this week. The lights of Cleveland, Akron, Canton and all points in between shone brightly with hospitality. So proud of this area, it’s people and all the officers from around the country who came in to help Cleveland’s police department make this area safe.

I knew it would go off without a problem, after all God lit Cleveland’s lamp with the first major sports championship in 52 years last month, no way was he going to let Cleveland’s light go out a month later with a disastrous convention.

I am very tired but very happy I was a part of the hoopla.
