The Lesson I Learned From Rommie

Sunday I looked out the kitchen window and there was Rommie lying in the backyard, panting, and had a big ol’ grin on her face.  She was waiting for me to come back out and play more tennis ball.

It was then I had a revelation and suddenly saw Rommie as an example of how I am to be with God.

God wants us to trust him as Rommie trusts me.

She knows I will make sure she has food, treats, tennis balls, visits to the vet, and set up her swimming pool.  Whatever her needs are, she knows I will meet them.  She does not worry about anything.  She is happy because she knows I will take care of her and as a result, she lives life to the fullest.

I need to practice what she quietly preaches.  Live life fully knowing God will meet all my needs from career to my physical self to my physical surroundings.

May you live fully knowing God will meet all your needs.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
