Have A Verse 3 Week

(Author’s Note: I ended up with 2 posts publishing yesterday instead of one. ooopppssss!)

My friend prayed that I would be like a tree planted by water that bears much fruit. It is a wonderful thought and one I will cling to this week as it is going to be a tough one, but then every week is mentally tough when you are in between jobs. Trust me I feel like I am withering away because not everything I touch prospers.

So I will cling mightily to verse 3 of this Psalm this week and always. Along with Isaiah 43:19.

May you have a Verse 3 kind of week and life.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff
    that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,

but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
