Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
I started running this series on the first of every month back in May. It is about the new things God is doing in my life. This verse has been on my heart all year.
July
I do not remember much of July prior to the night of July 30th when Rommie got sick. Making the decision to have her go live with Joe was something new for me as Rommie was the first dog I had as an adult.
August
August brought being rear-ended one weekend, off work for a week while being monitored for a concussion and then losing my job in the relocation industry. It also brought physical therapy, which beats me up. The soft tissue manipulation flushes out toxins which results in being dehydrated and hungry. I usually go out for breakfast and drink lots and lots of water to rehydrate.
I drove my bright blue Saturn Ion 3 for 9 years and 8 months. It was a car Joe picked out for me and Rommie rode in it for most of her life. So another attachment to Joe and Rommie is gone. I knew there would be a day when I would have to replace her, but did it have to happen so suddenly? (Prior to the 2004 I had a 1997 green Saturn sedan.)

September?
I ushered in September with some dancing and then will take you along as I climb Mt. McKinley. Other than those 2 events September will bring resume writing, job searching and finding some place a single woman can go to safely socialize with other people.
Coming Attraction – October!
Every October there is a small group of women (about 1,000) who write and publish one blog post every day on the same topic. It is known as 31 Days and I jumped into the group about 3 days before it began last year. This year I am prepared. In fact, I have been preparing since June (lots of sticky notes on the hallway wall). 😉
My series will start on September 30th with an introductory post and end on November 1st with a wrap-up post. I am not ready to reveal the title yet. Labor Day weekend means I will be working on photos, a special button as well as outlining my posts.
Halloween was Rommie’s favorite holiday so this project will give me something to occupy my time and mind during October.
So stick around, I guarantee you are in for a treat.
I love the glimpse into your life! I need to send you an email about answers to prayers you have prayed for me. Thank you so very much! Bright days ate coming for you!
Looking forward to your email my dear friend. I agree, bright days are ahead.
My it’s been a difficult summer for you, hasn’t it? Wishing you all the best as you continue to recover from the summer.
Yes, the last half of summer has been difficult. The first half was good. Thank you for the good wishes as I recover from everything. God bless you.
