Weekend Wisdom

Weekend Wisdom: Plato and Socrates

Since Aristotle provided wisdom for yesterday, it is only fair I give equal time to Plato and Socrates.

Enjoy!  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

The greatest wealth is to live content with little.

Plato

Any man may easily do harm, but not every man can do good to another.

Plato

People are like dirt. They can either nourish you and help you grow as a person or they can stunt your growth and make you wilt and die.

Plato

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

Socrates

Employ your time in improving yourself by other men’s writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.

Socrates

Our prayers should be for blessings in general, for God knows best what is good for us.
