Scripture:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We are to give thanks when the going gets rough, not because we are thankful for tough times but we are thankful God is there to see us through tough times. 

I am living proof  he sees us through tough situations as he has seen me through many a troubled time besides Joe’s passing and extended unemployment.

Thank you God for being there every step of the way and for giving me a wonderful supportive family also there with me through good times and bad.
