(For those of you new here I am Kearns, Rommie Kearns (a.k.a Romster), a golden retriever and Mommy and Daddy’s only child – human or otherwise. From time to time I hi-jack Mom’s computer and write my own posts about our day to day lives.)
Romster’s Return
Hi everyone. It’s Rommie reporting on the day’s adventures Mom and I encountered. Each day is one adventure after another and Mom has carried the load since Daddy moved to heaven. Mom’s “to do” list never ends.
I figured today was a good day for hi-jacking because Mom was busy preparing the master bedroom for fall/winter.
“Hasta La Vista, Baby!”
She mopped the hardwood floor but before that she annihilated any and all dust bunnies from under the bed and dresser. Guess what she found under the bed – another tennis ball. Imagine that!
“I’ll Tumble For ‘Ya”
Then she had to wash the curtains because I lie against them at night and my body oil was on the bottom. She washes them 1 panel at a time so they have ample tumble room.
“Nights In White Satin” – NOT!
She got out the green sheets and then put the comforter on the bed. In the late spring and summer months she just uses a sheet with the afghan she made. The nights are chillier so this morning Mom decided to bring the comforter out of storage. It gets taken to the cleaners for a good washing once spring comes because their washers have a lot of tumble capacity. After they wash it they bag and tag it and Mom puts it in the cedar chest.
Mom also managed to do some of her laundry today and squeezed in some playtime with me and visitation with the neighbors. There was no way I would let her off the hook on playtime.
More News
Mom got an email today and will be making a phone call tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well with the phone call. If so, there will be more news to report. The phone call does not have to do with a job.
Next
Next on the list is washing the rug in front of the bed and then my bed cover and then me. Oh no!!!! Not me, I love smelling like groundhog poop! I rolled in it Friday and Mom got it off with baby wipes but there is still a slight lingering pine smell. I was just practicing making snow angels.
Well Mom’s in bed, so I better head there too.
Night, Night and have a woofing good week!
Love, Hugs and Sloppy Wet Kisses,
Rommie
