Invasion!
Two weeks ago Rommie’s backyard was invaded by a squirrel. He was brave coming into the yard, normally sitting on top of the fence is as brave as he gets. Personally I think he was a spy.
Squirrel Invader!
Now Rommie normally takes off after the squirrel, but not this time. Rommie was named after a character on Gene Roddenberry’s “Andromeda.” On the show Andromeda was the space ship and Rommie was the ship’s artificial intelligence brought to life as an android.
So what was Rommie doing instead of patrolling her backyard?
She was on deck, looking at and waiting for me to…
throw the balls!!!
She did not care one bit that a squirrel invaded her yard.
Epilogue
The squirrel ran away and I threw the balls making Rommie happy.
She is slipping in her watchdog duties.
